Canadian music star The Weeknd has been officially declared the most popular artist in the world by record-keeping organisation The Guinness Book of Records.

In an announcement on March 20 2023 by Guinness World Record, Abel Makkonen Tesfaye popularly known as The Weeknd is the most popular artist in the world with the organisation stating that “No one else comes close”.
